12 babies born in relief camps

BHUBANESWAR: As many as 12 babies were born in 14 relief camps run by the district administration in Kandhamal. Sagari Chaabra, a New Delhi-based independent filmmaker, said during a press conference the people and administration confirmed the figure. “At least 12 babies were born and one child died in the relief camp so far,” she said.

Meanwhile, the State Government said mosquito nets and medicines would be made available for children below one year in the relief camp.
