Special Correspondent

NEW DELHI: Nepalese Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal (Prachanda) called on Bharatiya Janata Party President Rajnath Singh on Tuesday evening and during their interaction both emphasised the strong cultural and emotional links between the two countries.

Mr. Prachanda is understood to have said: “There may be certain ideological and political differences but we have great respect for the shared cultural heritage of both the countries.” He also referred to the cultural bond between Ayodhya in India and Janakpur in Nepal and added no one could break such strong emotional bonds.
