Bangalore: The full commission of the Karnataka State Human Rights Commission (KSHRC) will visit Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts from September 25 to 27 where there have been attacks on churches and Christian prayer halls.
KSHRC Chairperson S.R. Nayak has said in a release that it is the commission’s “earnest hope and trust” the government will prevent recurrence of disturbing incidents in several parts of the State. He has said that it was the “bounden duty of the state to prevent private persons from taking law into their own hands and attacking places of worship.”
