AIG: ‘Policy holders’ obligations will be met’

CHENNAI: American International Group Inc. (AIG) on Wednesday said that its life insurance, general insurance and retirement services businesses, including its extensive Asian operations, continued to operate normally and remained adequately capitalised and fully capable of meeting their obligations to policy holders, says a company release.

Customers holding the ULIP policy should not be worried, as the money is invested in the Indian market, a customer care executive said.
