Delegation of religious leaders calls for conserving the river

Holy sip: Activists of Ganga Raksha Mandali offer water from river Ganga to district Collector Peeyush Kumar in Medak on Thursday.
SANGAREDDY: Asking the Union government to take proper steps to protect river Ganga from being polluted, scores of religious leaders led by MLA T. Jayaprakash Reddy held a procession here on Thursday.
Responding to a call given by prominent yoga guru Ramdev Baba, the Patanajali Yoga Samiti of Medak district organised the programme.
After the procession they submitted a memorandum to district Collector Peeyush Kumar at the Collectorate. They also presented Ganga water to the Collector.
