Save the lake

For more than a decade, one has been hearing announcements from political leaders and officials on clearing Hussainsagar lake of pollution. The pronouncements were followed by a series of debates, discussions and visits of experts from different parts The officials, over the years, have been saying that guidance is being sought from outside experts and that governments -- from Dutch to Japanese-- are keen on helping in the task. But for the promises and plans remaining o n paper, hardly anything has materialised.Now, Israeli experts are being asked to suggest methodologies on phyto-remediation. Will something work out this time at least?
