One killed in accident

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A 50-year-old City Corporation employee was killed and another person injured when the motorcycle they were travelling on was hit by a bus near Murinjapalam on Thursday evening. According to the police, the deceased has been identified as Vijayakumaran Nair, a resident of Vinitha Bhavan, Gowresapattom. He was riding pillion with Jayaprakash, 40, a contractor. Jayaprakash sustained minor injuries in the incident. The body of Vijayakumaran Nair has been shifted to the MCH mortuary. — Staff Reporter
