BHEL R.C. Puram wins award

HYDERABAD: Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd Ramachandrapuram unit was chosen runner-up for the national safety award for 2006.

In-charge GM K. L. Vasudeva Rao received the award in New Delhi recently.

In the individual awards category, Prabhakara Rao Mande of the unit won Vishwa Karma Rashtriya Puraskar which carried a cash prize of Rs. 75,000.
