Congress leaders, TRS rebel at loggerheads

SANGAREDDY: The differences between TRS rebel MLA T. Jayaprakash Reddy and Congress leaders of the Medak district has widened with the latter lodging a complaint against the MLA with PCC president D. Srinivas at Hyderabad.

In a memorandum submitted to the PCC president at Hyderabad on Friday, the party leaders alleged that the workers were being harassed by the MLA. They also said that the MLA has been claiming that he is a Congress worker and supporting the activities of TJR Yuvasena ignoring the party workers.

. Alleging that the rebel MLA was involved in various land deals, the Congress leaders urged the PCC president to do justice to the party activists. Those who signed the memorandum included PCC member Rama Goud, Youth Congress former president S Harikishan, Sadasivapet unit president P. Subhash and Sangareddy town president Shiak Saber. The Congress leaders also claimed that they were assured of justice.
