10 injured in blast

GUWAHATI: Ten persons were injured in a bomb explosion in upper Assam’s Sivasagar town on Saturday night.

Police said the blast occurred at 6.40 a.m. at the traffic junction near Rangghar, the 18th century royal sports-cum-culture pavilion of the Ahom Kings. The injured have been hospitalised.
