Prayers peaceful in Kolar churches

KOLAR: People offered prayers normally on Sunday at St Mary’s Church here, where a statue was vandalised a few days ago. The prayers were held peacefully at all the churches in the district, Deputy Commissioner H.R. Srinivas informed. Mr. Srinivas visited the St. Mary’s Church and held discussions with the church authorities. Meanwhile, the district police are clueless about the miscreants who had damaged the St Mary’s statue on Tuesday night.
