‘Self awareness’ tour by Adilabad MLA

ADILABAD: Adilabad MLA C. Ramchander Reddy on Sunday undertook a ‘self awareness’ tour of localities in town to get first hand feel of the problems being faced by the residents.

Door-to-door visit

He started on the ‘self awareness’ tour in the morning with Rickshaw Colony where he went on door-to-door visit interacting with the residents to find out their problems. He noted the problems as narrated by the local people. Most of the problems related to poor drainage system, drinking water supply and street lighting.

Public meeting

Later, speaking at a public meeting organised in the locality, Mr. Ramchander Reddy listed in detail the Government’s programmes for the betterment of the people. Besides, pensions and other schemes, the Government was pumping in adequate funds to develop Municipal wards, he said. All the wards, especially the slums will be developed in due course. He said the problems as listed by the residents will b a thing of the past soon.
