Toddler done to death

HYDERABAD: An eight-month-old baby boy was battered to death allegedly by his father Sudershan at his house at Borabanda on Sunday. Sudershan, a security supervisor at Hi-Tec City, returned home on Saturday night in an intoxicated condition and picked up an argument with his wife Vijaya Laxmi over a domestic issue. Though Laxmi tried to pacify him, he continued arguing with her. When she was feeding milk to the baby, Sudershan forcibly took the child from her and hit the child to the ground resulting in grievous head injuries. The baby died on the way to Niloufer Hospital. Sudershan is absconding.
