DUBAI: From Dubai to Tel Aviv, there has been widespread condemnation of attacks on Christians in Karnataka. In Dubai, Hindu, Christian and Muslim community leaders held an inter-faith meeting recently to express solidarity with the victims and to seek a thorough investigation into the incidents of violence. In Muscat, a representative team met Indian ambassador to Oman Anil Wadhwa and requested him to forward a memorandum to the authorities back home. The memorandum said the Catholic community in Mangalore had been specifically targeted. It called for action to penalise the perpetrators of the violence. In Tel Aviv, the Konkan Catholic Sanghatan (KCS) in Israel organised a prayer meeting for all Christians affected by the attacks in India. A prayer service for peace and solidarity was held in Kuwait.
