Environment friendly way of celebrating Teachers Day

96 students take an assessment test too


PUDUCHERRY: Students of Achariya Bala Siksha Mandir, Uppalam attended the International Assessment for Indian Schools exams recently.

As many as 96 students of the school attended the exams, held in science and mathematics, which was the culmination of the joint efforts of Educational Assessment Australian of the University of New South Wales, Sydney and Macmillan India Limited.

Teachers’ Day was celebrated at Achariya Group of Educational Institutions on the theme “Guru Saatchaath Brahman-God’s Avathar.”

Tree plantation programme

A mass tree plantation programme was held on the occasion.

The plantation took place at Achariya Bala Siksha Mandir, Thengaithittu followed by other places. Conservator of Forests P. Devaraj participated in the programme.

A cultural programme was held at Achariya Arts and Science College, Villianur and prizes were distributed to the teachers on the occasion.
