Power cuts in several Delhi areas due to repairs today

NEW DELHI: Power distribution company BSES has announced major power cuts in large parts of its licensed area in the Capital this Tuesday due to repair and maintenance work.

The affected areas include Dwarka, parts of Baudhik Sampada, Crescent Apartments, DDA Flats (Sectors 13, 14, 16B, 17 and 18), Delhi Jal Board office, Karuna Vihar, Kirtiman Apartments and Tagore Garden from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.; and Palam, Palam Village and Palam Chowk from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Power cuts in R. K. Puram, Vasant Vihar (Block D) and DDA Janata Flats will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and in Nangloi, Udyog Nagar (Blocks J and K), Saket and Gadaipur NBCC from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.. There will be outage in Dwarka, DDA Flats Sector-6, Pocket-2, between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m., Alaknanda, parts of JJ cluster, Okhla Phase I (Blocks A, 1-B-241, 1-B-311 and 1-B-315), Vikaspuri, Bhagwati Garden (Blocks A & D), Mohan Garden (Blocks B, C, G, L, M, N , P, Q and R), Pipalwala Road, Rama Park (Blocks A, B, C, C1, D & D1) and Siddhartha Enclave between10 a.m. and 4 p.m. In parts of Punjabi Bagh, N.G. Road, Pal Mohan Apartments and Paschim Vihar Market (Block A), the cut will last from 10-30 a.m. to 2-30 p.m. and in Haus Khas, parts of Haus Khas (Blocks F, J, L Q & R) and Padmini Enclave between 10-30 a.m. and 4 p.m.

In Mayur Vihar, Kalyan Vas, Khichripur Village-I, Khichripur Colony and Mehrauli Dhoodhwali Gali, the power cut will be between 9 a.m. and 12 noon.
