‘Rose Day’ celebrated

MADURAI: ‘Rose Day’ for the benefit of caner patients and survivors was celebrated on Monday at the Meenakshi Mission Hospital and Research Centre. A number of programmes were held for the benefit of patients. Senior Consultant Radiation Oncologist stressed the importance of cancer screening to facilitate early diagnosis. V.N. Rajasekaran, Medical Director of the Hospital, delivered the welcome address, according to a hospital press release. — Staff Reporter
