Meet on fisheries

Kakinada: Collector Gopalakrishna Dwivedi suggested to the Fisheries Department to encourage farmers to take up aquaculture subject to the guidelines of Supreme Court and Central Aquaculture Authority so that their activity does not harm the environment. He was addressing a meeting of the district committee on fisheries. Fisheries Department Deputy Director VVSVRV Prasad, Joint Director of Agriculture T Nandaiah, PCB assistant engineer A Ramarao Naidu and District Revenue Officer M Mohan Raju were present.
