G.V. Nadig dead

SIRSI: Gajanan Vamanrao Nadig (96), a social worker, advocate and economist, died at his residence here on Monday. He is survived by wife, three sons and three daughters. Mr. Nadig was the former president of the district Congress committee (DCC). President of the DCC Shantaram Hegde, president of the Sirsi Bar Association Nagaraj Hegde, vice-president of the Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee Umesh Bhat, the former Minister R.V. Deshpande and the former MP Devaraj Naik have condoled the death of Mr. Nadig.
