Five candidates arrested
BERHAMPUR: Five youths were arrested on Tuesday by personnel of Golanthara police station on the outskirts of the city for preparing and using fake certificates of Berhampur University. According to the Officer-in-Charge of the Golanthara police station, Jyotiranjan Panda, these youths were trying to get admitted into the government B.Ed. college at Kanisi using these fake certificates.
The principal of the institute, Maheswar Panda grew suspicious about the authenticity of their certificates and informed the police. Thorough check up proved that certificates were fake.
