Acting on a tip-off, a Crime Branch team laid a trap near Rohini East metro railway station on July 30 and arrested Mukesh Kumar Keshwani (51) when he allegedly came to deliver slabs of molten coins to Brij Kishor Gupta (49) of Rohini Sector 7. During interrogation, Mukesh purportedly told the police that his accomplice Vijay Singh of Kanpur would procure coins from local shopkeepers and supply them to Brij Kishor’s furnace in Lucknow for melting.
