dated September 25, 1958: Indigenous medicine

Mr. M.A. Manickavelu, Revenue Minister (in charge of Public Health), Madras, stated in the Legislative Council, on September 24, that the State Government were of the view that the only way to develop the indigenous system of medicine was to separate it from other systems and develop it. He assured that the Government would formulate measures to encourage the the different systems of Indian Medicine.
