Youth fete

KOLLAM: The youth festival of Venad Sahodaya Complex (VSC) schools affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will be held at the Anchal Sabarigiri Residential School from October 3 to 5. V.K. Jayakumar, VSC chairman, said more than twenty schools from Thiruvananthapuram and Kollam districts were associated with the VSC. Event general convener Deepa Chandran said more than a thousand students in four categories will be competing in various events. All arrangements for food and accommodation were in place, she said. The winners at the festival will be eligible to compete in the State-level CBSE Sahodaya youth festival, she added. — Staff Reporter
