396 Airmen inducted into IAF

MAJESTIC PARADE: Airmen marching past at the passing out parade at the Indian Air Force Station in Tambaram on Wednesday.

TAMBARAM: After a passing-out parade at the Indian Air Force Station in Tambaram on Wednesday morning, 396 youth were inducted into the IAF as Airmen.

They underwent training in Mechanical Training and Workshop Training Institutes. Air Commodore D.S.Khajuria, Chief Technical Training Officer, Headquarters, Training Command, reviewed the parade and spoke to passing-out Airmen and also distributed trophies to winners in various Categories. Sunil Madhan and Subhash won the best all rounder trophies for Mechanical and Workshop Institutes respectively.

Air Cmde. Khajuria urged the Airmen to make sustained efforts towards continuous enhancement of knowledge and to keep abreast of their changes.

The Airmen, he said, should display a high degree of professionalism and should be aware of the latest developments.
