British and United States defence leaders considered measures to achieve effective collaboration in nuclear weapons at three days of talks which ended on September 24 in Washington, an official communiqué stated. It said they had exchanged views on the proposed suspension of nuclear weapons tests and on means of achieving an effective international system of inspection to guard against surprise attack.
