This Day That Age
A tiny new dry-cell type electric battery the size of a wrist watch has been developed in the United States. It can be recharged, is almost indestructible, and will last at least 10 years in active use, tests indicate. It is expected that the battery will be of greatest value in portable radios, hearing aids, airplane navigation systems, intercommunication systems, and other electrical and electronic devices.
