KJC posts win
BANGALORE: Kristu Jayanti College (KJC) downed CMRIMS 52-42 in the first league match of the Bangalore University inter-Zone basketball tournament for men at the Kristu Jayanti College courts, here on Thursday.
Evin (17) and Norris (15) did the bulk of the scoring for KJC.
The two colleges qualified from North Zone with victories over CMS Jain and Garden City College respectively earlier in the morning. While KJC won 48-39 over Garden City College, CMRIMS got the better off of CMS Jain 45-37.
SBM Jain and Surana College, the two sides to make the inter zone grade from South Zone, are the other teams in the fray.
