SBMJC wins double
BANGALORE: Sri Bhagwan Mahaveer Jain College won a double in the inter-collegiate badminton tournament for boys and girls conducted by National College at Basavanagudi, here.
While SBMJC Degree team downed its PU side 2-0 for the boys’ title, while the Jain College girls blanked National College also by an identical margin.
The results: Boys: SBMJC Degree bt SBMJC PU 2-0 (Harshil Shah bt Anirudh Shenoy 21-8, 21-19; Harshal Shah / Sandeep bt M. Pratap / Suraj 21-19, 22-20).
Girls: SBMJC bt National College 2-0 (Monisha Vinayak bt Shruti 21-7, 21-8; Monisha / Hita bt Shruti / Mangala Priya 21-7, 21-10).
