Minister’s midnight rendezvous

It was Minority Welfare Minister Mohd. Ali Shabbir’s day, rather night out. He hit the road on Wednesday night and walked right from Nayapul to Shahalibanda where the action is during Ramzan. Mr. Shabbir mingled with the Id shoppers and enquired about the difficulties, if any, faced by them. He had a word with the shop-keepers, including the footpath vendors. They thanked him for uninterrupted power supply and permission to keep the shops open throughout the night. A woman, who had come with her family to shop, thanked the Minister for the government policy of fee reimbursement to minorities. Mr. Shabbir ended his visit with a dash of haleem at Pista House.
