Steel workers hail NJCS decision
The Visakha Steel Workers’ Union on Thursday hailed the decision of National Joint Committee for Steel (NJCS)’s decision to give a bonus of Rs.16,200 to the employees of Bhilai Steel Plant and hoped that the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant employees would also get the same amount.
Union president D. Adinarayana, general secretary N. Rama Rao and assistant general secretary N. Dahanaraju said the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant employees should also get bonus on par with Bhilai Steel Plant. Visakha Steel Employees’ Congress general secretary Mantri Rajasekhar asked Visakhapatnam Steel Plant management to pay bonus to all the employees in recognition of their contribution.
