TRS activists attack Lanco corporate office

Special Correspondent

NIZAMABAD/HYDERABAD: Rampaging Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) activists smashed the glass facade of the corporate office of Lanco, promoted by Congress MP of Vijayawada Lagadapati Rajagopal, at Jubilee Hills here on Thursday evening.

This sudden attack was a sequel to the injury sustained by a TRS activist in an accident involving the MP’s car in Nizamabad town, a few hours earlier.

Mr. Rajagopal has been targeted by the TRS on earlier occasions as he has been strongly opposing the demand for a separate Telangana. The windshields of five cars parked outside were also broken.
