Ganja seized

Thiruvananthapuram: The anti-narcotic special squad of the Excise Department seized 8.5 kg of ganja from the Kanhirampara colony here on Thursday. Acting on a tip-off, the squad led by Excise circle inspector S. Saleem raided the colony and seized the ganja. One person, Babu alias Mondi Nazeer, was arrested in this connection. An official said the seized ganja was worth Rs.40,000. — Special Correspondent
