It offers discount of 20 per cent to 50 per cent on all items PUDUCHERRY: An exhibition of educational compact discs and digital versatile discs is on at the Chamber of Commerce at Rue Suffren from Friday. Educational CDs and DVDs on subjects such as mathematics, physics, chemistry and biology for students of Standard IV and Standard XII are on sale. “These materials serve as an audio-visual educational guide for students to grasp complex subjects in an easy and fun-filled manner. They are interactive and the subjects are explained with the help of diagrams. Animation techniques have also been used widely,” said an executive of the company, which is conducting the exhibition. More than 10,000 CDs and DVDs are on display, he added. The exhibition offers discount of 20 per cent to 50 per cent on all items. There would be a special discount for bulk orders and purchases made by schools. The price starts from Rs 59. Minister for Public Works and Collegiate Education M.O.H.F. Shahjahan inaugurated the exhibition, which would be on for the next 10 days.
