Bidar
BIDAR: Three children drowned in a pit filled with water at Chimkhod village of Bidar taluk on Friday. Police said Anand (13), Ashok (14), and Rajkumar (16) had gone to swim in the pit at a mining area in the village. The bodies have been recovered. After learning about the incident, Bidar Zilla Panchayat president Sangeeta Patil visited the spot and consoled the bereaved family. — Staff Correspondent
