Railways to run puja specials

VISAKHAPATNAM: The Railways will run Durga Puja special services to clear the extra rush of passengers during the Dasara season, according to the Senior Divisional Commercial Manager of the East Coast Railway in a press release here on Friday.

Train no.748/747 will run on Hyderabad-Visakhapatnam-Hyderabad route. Train no.748 leaves Hyderabad on September 30, October 2, October 5, October 10, October 17 and October 24. It departs at Hyderabad at 7.30 p.m. and arrives at Visakhapatnam on the next day at 8.30 a.m. Train no. 747 leaves Visakhapatnam on October 1, October 3, October 6, October 11, October 18 and October 25. It leaves Visakhapatnam at 8 p.m. and arrives at Hyderabad at 8.50 a.m. the next day. The trains will have two general bogies, 10 sleeper, Third and Second AC coaches one each.

Train no.0746/0745 Hyderabad-Howrah-Hyderabad: Train no.0746 leaves Hyderabad on October 1, October 3, October 5 and October 7. It leaves Hyderabad at 11 p.m. and arrives at Visakhapatnam on the next day at 12.30 p.m. Train no.0745 leaves Howrah on October 3, October 5, October 7 and October 10. It leaves Howrah at 4.40 p.m. and arrives at Visakhapatnam the next day at 6.40 a.m. The trains will have two general, 10 sleeper, second AC and Third AC coaches one each.

Train no.0803/0804 Howrah-Mysore-Howrah. Train no.0803 leaves Howrah on October 3 and October 10. It leaves Howrah on Friday at 4.10 p.m. and arrives at Visakhapatnam on Saturday at 5.50 a.m. Train no.0804 leaves Mysore on October 5 and October 12. It leaves Mysore on Sunday at 8.45 p.m. and arrives at Visakhapatnam following day at 12.15 a.m.

0839/0840 Howrah-Chennai-Howrah: Train no.0839 leaves Howrah on October 4 and October 11. The train will leave Howrah at 4.10 p.m. and arrives at Visakhapatnam on Sunday at 5.50 a.m.

Train no.0840 leaves Chennai on October 6 and 13. It leaves Chennai on Monday at 9.55 a.m. and arrives at Visakhapantam on the same day at 11.15 p.m. It will have two general coaches, 13 sleeper coaches, three first AC and two second AC coaches.

Train no.0835/0836 Hatia-Secunderabad-Hatia: Train no. 0835 leaves Hatia on October 16, 23 and 30 at 6.20 p.m. and arrives at Visakhapatnam at 9.45 a.m. the next day. Train no.0836 leaves Secunderabad on October 18, 25 and November 1 at 3.35 p.m. and arrives at Visakhapatnam at 4.05 a.m. on the next day. The trains will have one general coach, eight sleeper and one Third AC coach.

The Visakhapatnam-Nizamabad-Visakhapatnam express has been extended up to the end of December.

Train no.0509 leaves Visakhapatnam every Tuesday at 7.40 p.m. and arrives at Nizamabad at 11.55 a.m. the next day.
