Tourism quiz

CHENNAI: An inter-collegiate tourism quiz, organised as part of the World Tourism Day celebrations by the Department of Tourism and Travel Management, Anna Adarsh College for Women, Chennai, in association with Air India and a destination and conference management company Hi-Tours, had participation of 100 students from 50 colleges.
The Chief Transportation Planning Manager, Southern Railway, Priyamvada Viswanathan, was the quiz master.
The duo from the KCG College of Technology, M. Vijay and J. Srinivas, bagged the first prize to fly to Singapore by scoring 55 points.
The second prize-winning team, Ramkumar and Harish, was from Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering and the third was from M.O.P. Vaishnav College for Women represented by Divya Ganesan and P.R. Sandhya.
Complimentary tickets to the winners to fly to Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, and Bangkok, were given by Air India along with stay sponsored by the Singapore Tourism Board, Tourism Malaysia and Success Travels in Bangkok.
Tamil Nadu Advocate General G. Masilamani inaugurated the tourism quiz.
