The concluding event of this techno-cultural fest was the finals of ‘Apocalypse’ a competition of robotics. Twenty-nine teams with their indigenous robots had taken part in this competition. In this event the participants were given points for robots’ physical properties, plans of its actions, efficient control of its mechanisms, use of sensors to provide feedback to the controlling program and ensuring safety of its behaviour. Teams from the NIST Robotics Club excelled in these events. Electronic expoAn electronic expo was also part of the three day event. Young technocrats tried their hands at hardware modelling for specific project needs and their working models were displayed in the expo.
