Lucknow: A number of wanted criminals were arrested in a state-wide drive launched by the U.P. police to check cinema halls during the night show, official sources said here. In the drive launched by Additional Director General of Police (Law and Order) Brijlal, 27 criminals including one Abdul alias Farrukh and Raju alias Rajendra, who were wanted in several cases, were arrested, they said. A number of country-made pistols, cartridges, knives and narcotics substance were recovered from their possession.
