Attacks on religious places flayed

NEW DELHI: Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit on Sunday said attacks against any community, particularly the Christian community, will not be tolerated. She was speaking at the annual day celebrations of St. Peter’s Cathedral Church at Gole Market.

Ms. Dikshit said the recent attacks on religious places of Christian community were condemnable. “The attacks are unwarranted in a country which is proud of having a unique Constitution which guarantees equal rights and freedom of expression and faith to all. We must work towards preserving the secular fabric of our nation,” she added.
