Tehbazari sites given

NEW DELHI: The Municipal Corporation of Delhi has allocated 179 tehbazari sites to squatters, vendors and urban poor at Sadar Paharganj zone under the national policy on urban vendors. The allotments were made over the weekend in the presence of the vendors’ association and other stakeholders of the zonal vending committee. As many as 435 sites were available for allotment on tehbazari bases. The remaining sites will be considered for allotment under the same process.
