Gandhi Jayanti Development Week

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The State-level inauguration of Gandhi Jayanti Development Week will be held in Arimbur panchayat in Thrissur district on October 2. In a statement here on Sunday, the Local Administration Minister Paloli Mohammed Kutty’s office said that the Minister would inaugurate the State-level function. Revenue Minister K.P. Rajendran will preside over the function. The statement said that an exhibition on sanitation, organised as part of the World Sanitation Day, would also be held in this connection. The best local self-government that implements the programme as part of the Development week would be presented with honours and various benefits would be distributed to the beneficiaries.
