LUCKNOW: Senior Congress leader and former Chief Minister Ram Naresh Yadav today levelled corruption charges against Uttar Pradesh Information Commissioner B K Mishra and demanded his immediate dismissal. “The Information Comissioner B K Mishra is involved in corrupt practices and should be immediately dismissed by the Governor”, Mr Yadav said after meeting party’s information task force chief Shailendra Singh in jail on Sunday. Singh was arrested for allegedly creating ruckus at the State Information Commission office on September 26. Denying that Singh created ruckus in the commisioner’s office, Mr. Yadav and other party leaders in a joint statement alleged that he had been falsely implicated. - PTI
