Homage was paid to the memory of Raja Ram Mohan Roy at a public meeting in New Delhi on September 27 to observe his 125th death anniversary. Mr. S.R. Das, Chief Justice of India, formally inaugurated on the occasion the Raja Ram Mohan Roy Memorial Trust which will collect funds for building a public hall, a school and a library in the name of the great reformer.
