Thiruvananthapuram: The Sainik School at Kazhakkuttam had a distinguished visitor on Sunday in Southern Army Commander Lieutenant General Noble Thamburaj. He presented the school with the LSEase software for automation of its library. Lt. General Thamburaj was presented a guard of honour by the NCC contingent. He was accompanied by Major General E.J. Kochekan and Brigadier Cherish Mathson. The Lt. General placed a wreath at the stupa of remembrance. He also offered flowers at the memorials to Colonel N.J. Nair and Captain Harshan, alumni of the school who laid down their lives in action. Addressing the cadets, Lt. General Thamburaj exhorted them to work hard to achieve their goals. Earlier, Lt. General Thamburaj visited the Military Hospital and ECHS Clinic in the city.
