Staff Reporter

BANGALORE: C.V. Raman Nagar MLA S. Raghu on Saturday exhorted citizens to make use of various development programmes launched by the Yeddyurappa Government, which are aimed at the overall development of the State.

He was speaking at a public contact programme, Jana Spandana, organised in the area on Saturday. The MLA handed over various facilities to beneficiaries.

‘At people’s doorsteps’

“The administration will go to the doorstep of the people. The Government will hold such public contact programmes in all parts of the constituency once in three months. If I failed to resolve your problems, you can send me back home in the next elections. I will personally visit all parts of the constituency and hear the grievances of the people,” Mr. Raghu said.

The MLA distributed old age pension, widow pension, Sandhya Suraksha Yojna benefits, schoolbags and notebooks to beneficiaries.

Bangalore East Taluk Tahsildar Venkatesh was present.
