Inspector Sharma remembered
NEW DELHI: A condolence meeting will be organised at Dwarka here on Tuesday in the memory of late Inspector Mohan Chand Sharma.
Mr. Sharma was killed in an exchange of fire with suspected militants at Batla House in Jamia Nagar on September 19. Two suspected terrorists allegedly involved in the recent serial blasts in Delhi were also gunned down during the encounter.
Mr. Sharma was decorated with seven President’s Gallantry Medals during service. He was posted with the Special Cell of Delhi police.
The condolence meeting will be held in the Delhi Public School ground from 4 p.m. to 5-30 p.m. in Dwarka Sector-4.
