NEW DELHI: The death toll in the September 13 serial bomb blasts in the Capital has gone up with 22-year-old Tahir Ahmed (22), one of two critically wounded patients admitted to Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital, succumbing to his injuries on Sunday.

RML Hospital Medical Officer S. K. Sharma said: “Despite our best efforts, we could not save Tahir. He had serious head injuries and breathed his last around 1-30 p.m. He was in deep coma. We have another critically injured patient, Santosh, who is also in coma but is responding to treatment.”
