THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Air India Express, the low-cost carrier of National Aviation Company of India Limited (NACIL), has reduced fares on the domestic extensions of its international flights operating from Kerala. The reduced fares are available on all Air India Express flights departing from Thiruvananthapuram, Kochi and Kozhikode airports in the State and Mangalore, according to a release from Air India. The all-inclusive fare from Thiruvananthapuram to Kochi or vice versa will now be Rs.999. Educational institutions in the State can avail of the reduced fares for their students by organising group travel. The sector, fares and the days of operation are as follows: Thiruvananthapuram-Kochi, Rs.999, Tuesday and Sunday; Kochi-Thiruvananthapuram, Rs.999, Monday and Thursday; Kochi-Kozhikode, Rs.999 Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday; Kozhikode-Kochi, Rs.999, Monday, Wednesday and Friday and Kochi-Mangalore, Rs.999, Tuesday, Friday. The Kerala Association of Travel Agents has welcomed the decision of NACIL to reduce the fares.
