‘POTA must to check terror activities’

CHITTOOR: Central Government should enact POTA and curb terrorist activities in the country demanded Chilakam Ramachandra Reddy, former State president of BJP.

Addressing a press conference here on Monday during the party’s Sankalpa Yatra, he said that promulgation of such act was essential in view of bomb blasts and terrorist activities that have taken place in several parts of the country. Referring to the yatras, he said that the aim of the yatras was to bring awareness among people about the government’s failure in curbing terrorist activities price rise of essential commodities, besides pressurising the government to waive the loans of all farmers, Dwacra groups and handloom weavers.

He also demanded that the government provide all facilities to SCs and STs.
