New Chief General Manager of SBT

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A.K. Jagannathan has assumed charge as Chief General Manager of State Bank of Travancore. Earlier, he was Chief General Manager of the erstwhile State Bank of Saurashtra, now acquired by State Bank of India. Starting his career as a Probationary Officer at State Bank of Mysore in 1974, Mr. Jagannathan has held several key assignments as Deputy General Manger in State Bank of Mysore and State Bank of Hyderabad and General Manager in State Bank of Hyderabad and General Manager and State Bank of Patiala, before being promoted as Chief General Manager. His banking experience also includes a tenure as Honorary Secretary of the Indian Institute of Bankers, Bangalore Chapter and as Senior Faculty in State Bank of Mysore Staff Training Centre.
